Description
Nicholas, abbot of Jedburgh, Guy de Balliol, Walter of Lindsey and John of Denmuir, ambassadors of the king of Scots, write to King Henry III, requesting a fuller safe-conduct than that lasting until Whitsunday, which reached them at Huntingdon on Tuesday within the octave of Ascension, so that they may have time to come to the king, explain matters on behalf of the king of Scots and return.
