Description
An agreement was formed between William of Fedderate, ‘portionary’ of Duffus, and Christiana his spouse, and Nobleman Sir Reginald le Chen (Cheyne), the son, knight, whereby William and Christiana have given and granted to Reginald four davochs that they now have in Strathnaver and all other lands that they may have title to in the future in the holding of Strathnaver, and Reginald will make the third part of a knight’s service for the tenement that William and Christiana now have in the barony of Duffus, Moray, and in the barony of Strathbrock, (now Uphall, WLO).
