Description
Alan, earl of Menteith, son of Sir Alexander, earl of Menteith, gave, granted and by this his present charter established to Sir Walter of Aitkenhead, the knight, for his homage and service, the whole land of Thom in Menteith (PER). He is to provide the forinsec ervice of the lord king, as much as pertains to the land, for all other secular service, custom, exaction and demand. Alan promises warrandice.
