Description
John, king of Scotland, has given, granted, and by this his present charter established to William of Silksworth, his serviens, for his homage and service, 10 marks of land, with their pertinents, in the tenement of Covington (LAN), until he shall have provided the said William with so much land in a suitable place elsewhere; in feu and heritage, with all their just pertinents, liberties and easements pertaining, or that may pertain, to the said land, freely and quietly, fully and honourably, performing forinsec service.
