- Pope Alexander IV grants an indult to Robert, bishop-elect of Dunblane, in consideration of the smallness of his episcopal income, to hold to his uses the church of ‘Kilmaling’ (recté Kilmahog, PER), in his diocese, of his patronage, value 10 marks, on the death or resignation of the rector. Indult to the same, for three years, to take and convert to the payment of the debts of the see, the first year’s fruits of all benefices and dignities falling vacant in the diocese.
