Description
Indenture made between Lord Edward, king of Scots, and Lord Richard Talbot, knight, noting that Richard is bound to Lord William Montague, by the command of the lord king of Scotland, for 960 marks for the delivery of the lands of Keith (ELO) to the use of Lord Robert Keith, to pay half to William at Berwick on the following Martinmas, and the rest at the following Whitsun. And it is agreed between King Edward and Richard due to the delivery of Kildrummy castle in Mar, that the king shall pay half of the above sums and Richard shall pay the other half.
