Single-sided seal, date of striking of matrix unknown, but in use by 1291. The seal depicts Robert on horseback to *sinister*, wearing armour, surcoat and a grated visor, with a sword and a convex shield bearing arms of a saltire and *chief*. The same arms are repeated on the *caparisons* of the horse. There is a crest, of uncertain design.
