Description
Robert, king of Scots, has given his beloved and faithful Alexander Burnard for the king's debts to him for the construction of the park of Drum (ABD), of the land of Collonach (ABD) by stated bounds as it was on the day that Lord Alexander [III] king of Scotland his predecessor died, together with the lands within the forest of Drum outwith the Park of the same forest by stated bounds. He has also given Alexander in compensation for the office of forester and the foggage of the land, which were taken from Alexander and given to William of Irvine, six markates of land within his lands of the two 'Gardeniys' (Cairnie) in the sheriffdom of Aberdeen, namely the vill of 'Westercardeny' by stated bounds; holding in feu and heritage and in free forest; rendering a chalder of oatmeal in the name of blanchferme.
