- Description
- The king to the barons of the Exchequer, commands them to exonerate Master Richard of Abingdon, to whom his father had granted the manor of Writtle (Essex), forfeited by Robert Bruce, late earl of Carrick, for 7 years, from the yearly payment of 140 marks since 30th July 1307, when said manor passed to the hands of Humphrey de Bohun, earl of Essex and Hereford, and Elizabeth, his wife, the king’s sister.
