- Description
- Hugh Bisset writes to Sir Edward, king of England and lord of Ireland, noting that he was with Edward’s navy and men, with Angus of Islay and John MacSween, up to Sunday before the feast of St Michael, and they are there still, waiting for the king’s commands in Bute and Kintyre. If the king could send his letters to Alexander of Argyll, if the king believes him to be in his peace; and if not, to send them his counsel and aid so that they can destroy his adversaries that are there.
