Description
The king makes known that he has committed to his serviens, Andrew the Cryer, that land which is called the hospital in Hoton, and which William the Procurator, the king’s enemy and rebel, had for the term of his lifetime from William of Moray, and which fell to the king on account of William the Procurator’s rebellion; as made by an inquisition by his sheriff of Roxburgh by his mandate, rendering to the exchequer at Berwick 20s., half at Easter and half at Michaelmas, saving forever the right of William of Moray.
