Description
The king writes to his sworn-men Donald, son of Cane, Gillemichel Mac Gethe, Maurice of Stobhill and others in the retinue of his sworn-man, Thomas of Sandford, who drove off the malefactors and disturbers of the king’s peace, saving and recovering the castle in the king’s hand. To these men the king gives thanks in coming to the assistance of the said Thomas and others in those parts, having reprimanded and imprisoned the said malefactors and saving the said castle, as he has heard through certain writs.
