Description
Edward, king of England, lord of Ireland and duke of Aquitaine writes to his clerk and sworn-man, John of Langton, his chancellor, noting that at the instance of his sworn-man, Gilbert de Umfraville, he has pardoned Geoffrey del Wende of Dundee his breach of peace for the death of Ralph Chepman. He commands that the chancellor issue letters of pardon under the great seal.
