[Edward I] grants to the abbot and convent of Dundrennan, and their heirs free warren in all their demesne lands in ‘Gairstang’, Newlaw, Overlaw, Netherlaw, Auchengool, Upper Rerrick, Nether Rerrick (prob. now Modern Rerrick), Rascarrel, Auchencairn, ‘Clonfinaghe’, Barlocco Wood (?), Barlocco, the island of Hestan, the hospital of Cree (now Spittal, Kirkmabreck parish, DMF), Kirkpatrick-Durham, and ‘Auchenkipp’ in the county of Dumfries, and ‘Biskeby’ and Culscadden (Sorbie parish) in the county of Wigtown.
