Description
The bishop [of Glasgow] petitions the king, as he and his town of Glasgow have been seised of toll from the burgesses of Rutherglen on all goods sold or bought in Glasgow, and they claim franchise under a new grant from the king, that he would permit him to distrain them in his said town to pay as heretofore.
