Description
Robert of Wilton has given, granted and by his present charter established to John, son and heir of Thomas Wallace, his whole part of his land of Gladney, of him and his heirs, in feu and heritage; he also has given and granted all the homage, service and rent which Thomas Wallace used to pay him from Tarvit ‘Adan’ [Nether Tarvit?] and from Westfield, and all the service which was owed to Robert from Tarvit ‘Anard’ [Hilltarvit?] and also all the homage, service and rent owed to him from the tenement of Balass, rendering one merlin or 1d. at the feast of St Mary Magdalen and to the bishop of St Andrews 15s for cain of the said land of Gladney.
