Edward, king of England, lord of Ireland and duke of Aquitaine, and also overlord of the kingdom of Scotland, addresses Alexander de Balliol, chamberlain of Scotland, and commands him to pay to Roger of Burton and Osbert of Spaldington five shillings per day for [hearing] all the complains of the aggreved within the kingdom of Scotland during a certain specified time.
