Description
Duncan son of Gillemichael MacEdolf has granted and by this his present charter established to Malcolm his brother the donation which Gillemichael his father made to him of the quarter part of an arochar of land called ‘Gartchonerane’ (Gartocharn, DNB?), by its right bounds and with all its just pertinents, in feu and heritage, in perpetuity, as the charter of Gillemichael his father bears witness, rendering annually 10s., half on the feast of St Martin, the other half at the Glasgow Fair, and in the army of the lord king, as much as pertains to a quarterland in Lennox, and performing royal aids as pertains to that land.
