- Description
- The king having learned that Master Alan of Dumfries, chancellor of Scotland, and his clerk, the associate of Alan bishop of Caithness, late chancellor, after the bishop’s death remained in Edinburgh at their own expense for 15 weeks, and after the death of William of Dumfries, the last chancellor, for 20 days, awaiting the king’s pleasure, allows them 2s. per day each, and commands the chamberlain of Scotland to pay them. Appends the seal of the regency of Scotland.
