Description
Reginald Cheyne, the knight, for the salvation of his soul and of his father, his ancestors and his sucessors, has given, granted and by this his present charter established, in free, pure and perpetual alms, to Scone Abbey all his land near the river Crumboch (PER) [ ] as the late Alexander III, king of Scotland gave [ ] to [his father], viz.: that which lies contiguous on the eastern part of the land in which the manor of Alexander, late earl of Buchan, was situated, as before the same earl made an exchange with Lord [ ] for the land in which the manor of the said earl is situated near Drumyog’ near the River of Tay (PER), to be held and had, just as his father held this from the lord king.
