Description
Malcolm, earl of Lennox, has given, granted and by this his present charter established to Matilda of Arnot, and Forbflaith and Elisabeth, her sisters, heirs and portioners of half the lands of the late Sir Thomas of Craminnan, that island within Loch Lomond (DMB) which is called Elannabot, by its correct bounds, to be held and had in feu and heritage, with all its pertinents and easements. Thenceforth, they are to render annually to Malcolm and his heirs nine pennies of sterling at the feast of the translation of St Thomas the martyr, or within the eighth day that follows, for all other service, exaction and demand pertaining to the island.
