- Description
- Patrick Graham has given, granted and by this his present charter established to the brothers of Beauly Priory, in perpetuity, a third part of his land of Altyre (now Kilmorack, INV), with all its pertinents and right bounds, in exchange for the multures of Lovat, Fingask and Donaldston (all INV). Additionally, [this land is given] in compensation for forty marks which Patrick is being held accountable to the brothers for a third part of the 120 marks which the Sir John Bisset bound himself and his heirs [for] to the fabric of Beauly. And additionally, in compensation for twenty-five marks which Patrick is being held accountable for the unjust detention of the multures of the aforesaid lands. And additionally, [this land is given] in compensation for the seventeen marks which Patrick is being held accountable to the brothers for the debt of Sir David, his father, which his father was being held accountable to brothers. Patrick's part of the land is to be held and had by the brothers and their successors, in perpetuity, in free, pure and perpetual alms, with all their pertinents and easements. Patrick promises warrandice.
