Description
W[illiam] and R[obert], bishops of St Andrews and Glasgow, Duncan, earl of Fife, Alexander Comyn, earl of Buchan, constable and justiciar of Scotia, John Comyn and James Stewart of Scotland, Guardians of the realm of Scotland by common council, write to Alexander de Balliol, chamberlain of Scotland. They command and instruct that they pay to David de Torthorwald, knight, his fee from the end of Pentecost and St Martin past, following what he was accustomed to receive from that fee in the time of their late king, by royal charter, as they understand.
