Description
John of Graham writes to Sir Robert, King of Scots, noting that he has given and granted by his charter to the abbot and convent of Melrose all the boundaries and rights contained in their old charter which they have from his ancestors of the land of Eskdale, and which boundaries and rights were saved and reserved by him. He prays to his royal highness that as the said lands are within the bounds of his truce, that he may wish that any of them may be able to give sasine of the said rights and boundaries peaceably and without disturbance to the said Melrose Abbey as more fully contained in the infeftment which they have from John.
