Description
Alexander, king of Scots, has granted and by this his present charter established that donation which David Broun, knight, made to Holyrood Abbey of that part of his land in the territory of ‘Cumbircolstoun’ (in Colstoun, ELO), which William Wyppot, burgess of Haddington, formerly held at ferme; having and holding in pure and perpetual alms, without any burden and secular exaction, with all pertinents, liberties and easements pertaining to it, saving the king’s service.
