- Description
- Peter of Graden has given, granted and by this his present charter established to Juliana, his eldest daughter, those two oxgangs of land, with their pertinents, in the villa and territory of Graden (BWK), which Adam son of James formerly held of him, with a toft and croft lying between the land of Walter of Graden and the land of Eda, daughter of the late Thomas of Graden, which toft and croft the aforesaid Adam similarly held of him in the same villa; holding and having in feu and heritage, for an annual render of a pair of white gloves or 1d at Pentecost, and paying 6d. if they should fall in forfeiture in his court, and 6d. for ward, relief and marriage.

This document was in section 3 of GD 97 until 1980, when it was withdrawn. The HMC report suggest ca. 1288, but the evidence for this is completely unknown.
