Description
Alan, steward of the house of the king of Scotland, has given and by the present charter established to St Mary’s, Wardon, 4s. annually at Pentecost for his soul and all his ‘carorum’ in pure and perpetual alms, and notifies that it is to be paid by Melrose Abbey from the rents that they owe him from Mauchline (AYR).
