Description
William de Soules, knight, has given, granted and made firm by this his charter to Jedburgh Abbey 2 acres of arable land in the territory of Castleton (ROX), one lying on the south side of the cemetery, the other in the meadow that the late Hugh the smith held of him, with all liberties, commons and easements pertaining to that land, in free, pure and perpetual alms.
