- Description
- Pain, the goldsmith of Edinburgh, has given and granted and by this his present charter established to Inchcolm Priory, that land which King William gave him on the north side of the church of St Giles of Edinburgh, that is, the one which William (II) of Lindsey surrendered by precept of the lord king, that lies next to the land of Adam of Lothian, in pure and perpetual alms, saving to the chamber of the lord king one pound of cumin annual render from the said land on the feast of St Michael.
