Description
John of Moray, son of Sir Malcolm of Moray, has given, granted and established by this his present charter to Sir William of Moray, his brother, for his homage and service, all his lands of ‘Culnacloyth’ and ‘Ruthtrelen’ in Strathbogie (ABD), which he holds Sir William, earl of Sutherland, by their right bounds and with all their just pertinents, liberties and easements, in feu and heritage, rendering annually one pair of gloves and 1d. on Easter and making the forinsec Scottish service of the lord king, holding free and quit from suit of court. If the assignees of William do not have sasine of the said lands before William’s death, he wills that there shall not be any prejudice against them.
