Description
Gregory de Maleville, knight, holds and obligates himself to the support of the chapel of Blessed Leonard of Tartraven (MLO), for the souls of the illustrious late kings of Scots, David, William and Alexander, and for the souls of Geoffrey de Maleville and Richard and William and their successors, of that half ploughgate of land which Sir Richard de Maleville his grandfather gave to that chapel with its pertinents, and of 2½ marks that Gregory gave from his rents of ‘Lecbernard’ (Leadburn, MLO).
