- William de Vieuxpont, led by penitence, returns to Saint Cuthbert and his monks at Coldingham the land concerning which there had been a dispute between him and the same monks in the time of King David that he unjustly seized from them, free and quit from all claim for ever, by the old bounds, to wit, as the stream runs down into the Tweed, in such a manner that the the way may be open free for the people of Horndean to the river.
