- Thomas of Nisbet and Amabilis, his wife, for the remedy of their souls and for the souls of their ancestors and their sucessors, have conveyed to Melrose Abbey, in free, pure and perpetual alms, two acres of meadow situated in the territory of Nisbet (ROX) in ‘Bradhalu’ near the pond of their mill, free and quit from all custom and secular exaction. Additionally, Thomas and Amabilis quitclaimed whatever rights they have or are able to have in the aforesaid two acres to the monks.
