Description
Agnes, daughter of John, wife of Laurence of Elliston, by the agreement of Laurence, her husband, states that the charter recording all of the conventions which her father and her mother made with the abbot and convent of Melrose and the concessions which they made to them of everything which they had within the villa of Elliston (ROX) or outside it has her seal and the seal of Laurence, her husband, appended to it. Additionally, she promised by oath that neither they nor any other will move against anything which is contained within the said charter.
