Description
Walran de Normanville granted and by this his charter established to Melrose Abbey, in free and perpetual alms, that donation which Sir Thomas de Normanville, his brother, by the good will and consent of Sir Guy, his brother, made to them of a ploughgate of land of Maxton (ROX) between the ‘Denes’ with the messuage, toft and croft and all the pertinents, freedoms and easements at the land, as the charter which they had from Sir Thomas de Normanville, his brother, fully testifies concerning the same land.
