Description
Thomas son of David of Quixwood for the souls of his father and mother, and of his ancestors and successors, has granted, given, and made firm by this his present charter, to Blessed Cuthbert and the prior and convent of Durham, 10 acres of land in the territory of Coldingham, in the place called Fleurs, in pure and perpetual alms; that is, those 10 acres that my father David gave to the same prior and convent and made firm by his charter, in free and perpetual alms, just as any alms are held and possessed in the land of the King of Scotland.
