Description
John of Landells, successor and heir of William son of John son of Orm has granted and made firm by this his charter to Melrose Abbey all the donations which William son of John, his uncle, made to them in the feu and territory of Hownam (ROX), namely the adjacent land by the place which is called ‘Rachawes’ by the correct bounds contained in the charter of William which the monks have, with additional specifications. (damaged)
