Description
Robert de Muschamp has given, granted and by this his present charter established to Master William of Greenlaw, for his homage and service, all the land which he proceeded to perambulated to him by his good men in the land which belonged to Nicholas of ‘Eghetofft’ and Juliana, his late sister, in the territory of the villa of Hassington (BWK), in exchange for the land which he first gave in the territory of the villa lying by the part between the land of his men of Hassington, by stated bounds which include his mother’s land and the land which his mother gave to Sir William son of John along with Julie, his sister, in free marriage. Robert and his heirs or assignees and their heirs are to make good for Robert and his heirs service of a 30th part of one knight in forinsec service to the lord king. Master William and his heirs or his assignees and their heirs will be quit and immune from all service and from multure and from other specified demands.
