Description
William of Lilliesleaf has given, granted and by this his present charter established to Melrose Abbey, in pure and perpetual alms, two tofts in the western part of Haddington (ELO). They will give to him and his heirs annually from the tofts themselves four pennies during fair of Haddington. William and his heirs will acquit them from all service and from every other thing in perpetuity.
