Description
Walter son of Alan, steward of the lord king of Scotland, has given and granted to Melrose Abbey all the land of Mow (ROX) by its correct bounds and whatever is contained within the said bounds with all its pertinents which he held in feu of Sir William de Vescy and all the rights and suits, in free, pure and perpetual alms, free from all exaction, service, custom and whatever other service [owed] to anyone.
