Description
Prior Bertram (I) and the convent of the church of Durham have granted the chapel of (Long)Newton (ROX) to the lord W[illiam], bishop of St Andrews, and his successors, free and quit from all subjection and pension of the mother church of Ednam, as it is set out in the agreement made between the said lord bishop of St Andrews and them over the liberties of the their churches in the bishopric of St Andrews.
