William de Heriz has granted and given and by this his present charter established to St Bees Priory in pure and perpetual alms, one saltworks in Rainpatrick (DMF) between his saltwork and ‘Presthou’, free and quit from all secular service and exaction, with all easements and liberties which his lord Robert de Bruce established by his charter.
