Description
John son of Harvey, ab of Varia Capella (Falkirk), has resigned and quitclaimed to his lords the abbot and convent of Holyrood, in the abbot’s full court, which he proposed to have or possibly have or any sort of claim or title to the land of the said Harvey his late father in Falkirk (STL), [in exchange] for one chalder of flour and three ells of blue cloth in his lifetime from the same. He has sworn in the hand of the venerable father H[enry], bishop of Galloway.
