Description
Alexander of Dunoon, knight, has given, granted and by this his present charter established to Sir Patrick of Graham, three quarters of a ploughgate of land of ‘Akencloy Nether’ (Lower Auchincloich), which in Gaelic is called Arachor, namely, those three quarters called ‘Clouchbar’, ‘Barauchan’ (Barrochan), and ‘Barnaferkyly’ (DNB), by all their right bounds, in feu and heritage, making services, dues and customs to the lords in chief, and rendering annually at Pentecost 1d. in the name of feuferme.
