Description
Patrick Corbet, lord of Fogo, gave, granted and by this his present charter established to Kelso Abbey the chapel of Fogo (BWK) with the mill of the same, with the lands, etc., and also with all its pertinents which Sir William, his father, and Sir Nicholas, his brother, in whatever manner, conveyed to the chapel in the tenement of Fogo, free and quit from all secular exaction and demand. The monks will manage to acquire three monks or three secular chaplains to celebrate divine service in the said chapel for the souls of his ancestors and successors.
