Description
Andrew Maunsel has given and granted license and freedom to Kelso Abbey in order that they may strengthen and have in perpetuity the pond of their mill of Kelso (ROX) on the Tweed on the part of his territory which he has in the haugh on the eastern part of the villa of Roxburgh, and he granted and by this his charter established, in free and perpetual alms, the aforesaid, for the salvation of his soul and of all his ancestors and successors by the concession and testification of Walter, his son and heir.
