Description
Everard of Pencaitland has given, granted and by this charter established to Kelso Abbey the church of his villa of Pencaitland with the land, teinds and everything justly pertaining to the church, in free and perpetual alms, for the salvation of his soul and all of his ancestors and successors and for the salvation of his lord, King William, and all his ancestors and successors.
