Description
Hugh called ‘Eme’, son and heir of Constancia, neptis and heiress of Lady Richenda daughter of Humphrey of Berkeley, has renounced and quitclaimed to Arbroath Abbey all right that he had in the lands of the Mearns and in the mill of Conveth (KCD), which belonged to Lady Richenda. He also establishes the donation which the said Richenda made of the lands which she had in the Mearns and the mill of Conveth, as in her charter. He also pays for himself and his heirs to the said religious 20s. annually for the land called Letham in the shire of Arbroath (ANG).
