Text: ‘Peter of Balfour his Licence to John Monepenny (who was interdicted to Peter) to wodset the Lands of Mirton to Nichol of Milton Clerk of the Chamber to King Alexander 3d. The Licence is dated in the 14th year of King Alexander 3rd his Reign, i.e., Anno Domini 1263’ According to the Morton of Cambo notes, John is also a witness to this charter.
