Description
Walter Bisset, for the welfare of the soul of the most illustrious Alexander (II), king of Scots, has given [granted and by this his charter established?] to Coupar Angus Abbey in pure and perpetual alms, all his saltpans which the king gave, granted, and by his charter established to him at ‘Aldendonecha’ (prob. KCD) between Aberdeen and Cowie, with sufficient peat for making the salt.
